YETI Coolers - Function or Fad?

I have one for my fish cooler on the boat, and a couple of their soft coolers. My only regret is not buying a bigger one, this one fills up fast. It's outlived any of my other coolers by a long shot, and it sits in the sun on my swim platform all spring summer and fall. I love it because it cleans up easy still to this day, can just wipe it down. No fish smell, either. Is it a fad, sure, but nothing has worn out, warped, or faded. I just don't want to buy another one.
 
Yeti just came out with a 12” cast iron pan. You can’t blame them for being cheap on price :eek::D:eek:

When I had the decal for the boat name, I had a smaller (maybe 24 inch wide) of the boat name made and put it on the side of the Yeti.
 
Ice is cheap until you are in the Bahamas
Beer is cheap until you are in the Bahamas
I keep a Yeti Tundra 160 in the cockpit when we take those trips; it is huge BTW.
But all of our drinks and liquids for a trip goes into the Yeti plus over a eighty pounds of ice.
On a one week trip ice comes back; on a two week trip we need to add ice.

Is it a good cooler that keeps ice? Absolutely.

Mancard @Pirate Lady?? Last Styrofoam cooler I saw had a rainbow on it.... Just say'n.
 
We beer drinkers don't drink Bug Light any more because of, well, you know.

We sportsmen, aka gun owners, don't buy Yeti any more because of their anti American sentiments, aka anti 2nd amendment.

Go ahead and pay the price for a Yeti, but if you bring it on MY boat it might just have an issue with my nine.

NOW, go ahead and flame me......

I will never grow tired of the irony of general American political awareness and how we so effectively deploy selective outrage.
 
Personally, my outrage is not selective. The way our beloved country is heading, there are few things that are not worthy of outrage.
 
We have soft sided coolers that are about 1/3 the price of equivalent Yetis but just as effective. Found them at the boat show almost 20 years ago. Guaranteed for life and we have had a couple replaced free of charge. They were over 10 years old, so the guarantee is no joke.
