Here's what I did with the Forward Stateroom TV.
The monitor is a Pyxel 17" LCD TV/monitor. It has a number of inputs, including component, Svideo, composite, and RGB. I added a Samsung SIR-T351 HDTV tuner and a Toshiba progressive scan DVD player to the cabinet. The monitor is on an articulating arm so we can lay in bed without having to look sideways to see the screen. I'd have done a drop down, but I didn't want to get into the ceiling covering, or mess with exposed wiring.

370... Great job......looks sweat.
How does it ride the waves....do you "lock" it in place some how.
My winter list gets longer..................

If you look near the top of the monitor in the first pic, you'll see a brass catch installed. This holds it against the cabinet. I may put two on if I take a trip.

I have further modified the salon TV to now be just a 17" HP monitor, with a Samsung SIR-T351 HDTV set top box. This model has a RGB output.
The audio is fed into a Creative Labs Extigy decoder, and then feeds a Logitech 5.1 system that is hidden in the salon. This will do until I get a widescreen monitor (or not).
I mounted the monitor directly to the case of the set top box, creating a single unit. That allows me to get a flush mount for the tv without an articulating arm.

Nice job! Where did you get that mounting arm? I've been looking for a similar thin one but finally gave up?
