Yellowstone

I just binge watched the last 4 episodes of Yellowstone as I have been out of town ….. there are only a couple left for season 4. I can’t say I was overly impressed… following jimmy is a waste of time and beating up and ostracizing the old guy is accomplishing what?…. I would still train station that guitar kid…. If for no other reason then that stupid guitar playing on the show…. We see more action on the tv in the bunk house of someone’s cousin…. I think the show is getting lame

I agree the show has jumped the shark.

Near the end of last season's final episode, the black lady is telling Rourke to get rough and treat their land deal like an oil rig deal in Yemen. Then we see all of the hits happen on the Dutton's.

This season the writers said it was Jamie's biological father who orchestrated the hits. WTF? The writers have spent less than one full episode developing that plot line this season. Instead they are wasting time on horse dancing scenes, the useless Jimmie thread, and anything with Monica Dutton is pure time filler.

That said, the Tantric dinner conversation was a riot.

I agree with you guys. I'm starting to get bored with it. The only thing I want to see is what Beth is up to with the news and protest people.

My Admiral felt the same way, like the story just seems so much like a repeat of previous seasons. The outsiders wanting to develop the ranch and the fight to keep the ranch. Going to need a different adversary if this continues.

Walking Dead ran into the same trouble trying to find different adversaries…

Some Hollywood liberal will pull a redskin out of the hat and make a victim, then a black politician will get shot by a conservative cowboy after a white mans dog attacks him.

Ha ha ha.....that's our world these days for sure.

So, did Beth Dutton commit "Character Suicide" last night? It was just so unbelievable that she would seek out Walker for comfort.

I'm so over it. I'll watch the season finale next week just because I'm invested, but we'll see about next season.

It seems like the Jimmy and the dancing horses angle is just a big infomercial for the equestrian and western wear industry. I wonder what affect the show will have on tourism in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho.
CD
