I just had my boat detailed about 3 weeks ago and already I'm starting to see the yellowing come back around the engine. Is there any product I should use to get this out?

Is this yellowing in the engine compartment or on the transom around the outdrive :smt017 .

It is around the outdrive on the hull.

I had a yellow stain on my old Maxum. The boat yard used a product called On/Off (I think). It worked well.

Any ideas as to what maybe causing this stain to appear? Is it motor/outdrive related or a result of the water in which you are boating?

Sno-Bowl Toilet cleaner worked great. I figured it was worth a try and it did the job.

We noticed it when our boat was out of the water at the marina. There was also a line of algae at the waterline al the way around the boat.One of the guys at the marina gave me a small pail with something he called XLS, I think. He said on/off also would work. I took a sponge dipped it in the XLS and the stains came off like magic.
