The reason I ask is I plan to live on my 240 we. Not by choice but out of necessity I know I will have to downsize so to speak, and spend alot of time on anchor. but sometimes life just makes it that way I am also working on going off grid as much as possible as well. Any sugestions welcome

My son had a remote control SR that was maybe 18" long that had a liveabout spider. If this is the smallest liveaboard on this thread is there some sort of prize?

I guess you can do it. It may get tight after some time. Good luck.

living full time on a 24'? that's going to get old real fast. you'll probably have to dock her every 2 days. (pump out, water, supplies, fuel) You can't hold much on a boat that size.

Part of me envys your decision or situation. It boils down to what do you really need? A bed and a roof and some food. :smt038

Lifestyle? hope you like mac n cheese, cause that's about all you'll eat with no fridge, no stove, no microwave. You could get a grill and boil some water. Or you can catch a fish and eat it right then and there, before it spoils. Maybe he could turn his canvas upside down and use it as a water catch. Head shmead, just drop trow on the swimplatform and then dip your butt in the water to wash it off, just pop out the logo on the platform and woolaa, bottomless porta potty

Wow you nailed it. The range of expert advice is bottomless.

eman369 Only thing left to do is trade it for a blow boat you'll be all set. No gas to buy.

which will soon be led. I am not going completly off grid just mostly. I just have to get some Obama money right

You would be surprised how little you really need a fridge. Do a search on living without.

Thanks Four sons I was wondering where I should put the genny there is this hole with this piece of metal and a bunch of rope. I thought that would be a good place to run it :wow:. seriously though the ability / feasibility is there! I saw earth ball my boat is bigger and much more sea worthy than that. Chuck thanks I have seen many a guy living with only a cooler (and not just for beer) it is carzy how long stuff lasts without cold
