Ya know what?

I hear ya.... its been brutal here in the North West since late June, early July. 70-80 degrees and this funny bright thing in the sky all day long.

I certainly don't know what you are saying. Low 90's this weekend with a slight breeze? Seems like ideal weather to me. Sucks to live back east I must say.

Really, we have to read about all the great get togethers in the other threads, the least we can do is flaunt our weather.

Amen to all of the above....... I've enjoyed the last week here at our vacation home on SML and had crappy weather. Today, the weather is stunning, HOWEVER we have no lake water so I can't lower the boat into the water. Although we have tons of water below our boat, the lift cables will likely just get us off the lift, but they keep lowering the lake making Hydro electric power so I wouldn't be able to get back on again. the lake lowered another 6 inches this afternoon...... this SUCKS....... AEP says they are required by Federal Law to "release" 500 cubic feet per second to the lower holding lake after Sept 1. It was worse........ was 600 Cu Ft per second through the end of August.

We just had the cables replaced on our lift and it never dawned on me to tell them to add another 3 feet to each cable so I could get out in low levels.....

Our Sea Doo is on the opposite side of the dock and I've got a whole 6" of water below it..... WOW !

We hoped the tropical depression would have dumped 6 or 8 inches of rain on us, but instead we got about a quarter inch. Too late, the dam made electricity instead.

Same here, August was almost a waste from a boating perspective. Between wind on weekends and rain, I hardly got away from the dock. Now Sept. doing the same thing. The season is getting long in the tooth and I need to burn some gas, COME ON NICE WEEKENDS!

Sorry to hear that, Mike. We have spent more time anchored out in lake mi with friends on beautiful sunny and flat water days this year then I think we ever have.

exactly!!!!

I am sick and tired of the crappy weekend weather we have been having this year. It's either 100+ degrees or its rain and storms..

I personally would just appreciate a RELIABLE forecast. Labor Day weekend was supposed to be a washout. Had an hour of rain Saturday night. The sunday radar looked like rain as far as the eye could see, headed home early, only to have 20 minutes of rain late in the day. Monday, again forecast for a washout, but only 20 minutes of rain and nastyness.

Then this past weekend, yet again, Saturday was supposed to be worthless weather-wise, but it was sunny until the crazy storms came late afternoon and night. Sunday... Amazong.

Hopefully this coming weekend will prove to be different!

It's been a weird summer from a weather perspective. We've had almost no rain and lots of sun. However, the wind has made Lake Michigan travel pretty bumpy. Winds are out of the SW right now at 23.

I've been getting plenty of use of my new camper top this year. Between the 60-70* weather and the rain in JULY!!
