XM Satellite Radio Antenna

I have purchased a XM Marine antenna and want to mount it to the arch on my '04 320. I wanted to know if there is plywood backing in spots on the arch so i won't have to use through bolts because I am not sure how or if I can get to the inside of the arch to tighten the nuts. I was thinking about either on the top or the port side. Thanks.

You don't need any backing to mount a small antenna on your arch. Just screw it on wherever it fits best.
