WTF!!! How many funny comments can you make

Am I to understand that the addition of the outboards was a "cool mod"? If so, that's nuts.

With a good motor you can make just about anything move in the water.
Question is, would you want to be seen in it?:smt009

Those Yam outboards were just a temporary installation to get the thing out into the bay into deep enough water to sink it. The following vessel (probably a Sea Ray) was there to film the procedure and retrieve the outboards and fuel tank. Thus we have another vessel lining the bottom of the bay,,,,,, hence "Bayliner".

Am I allowed to say things like this on the forum??

Well you all know we're going to be visited by the BOC in the very near future. Prepare for the BOC on slot of rebuttal’s.:smt021:lol:

Just one question...why? Those motors run 10 to 20 grand new, used 8 to 10. The owner could have put a new motor and drive in for that cost

When Doug Go Away sees this,

He'll run back like a sissy girl to tell BOC what is being said on here. :smt021

I'm still po'd at the BOC site. When our site was down I applied to register to their site under the pseudonym of C. Ray. ("C" for Chris and "Ray" for my middle name), I needed a fix!!! They are still refusing me access for some reason. Don't matter any way, I found IBNW and HT for my second fix. Can't beat this site for good info, interesting subjects, and camaraderie though.

And just for the records; our circle of friends includes a few "Bayliner" owners. So far their boats have proven to be quite comfortable, very economical, and affordable for their owners. They are new or near new and none of them have been subjected to any real foul weather or off shore use, but they get their owners out on the water, and that's kind o' the whole idea. The Admiral and I take quite a lot of ribbin' an' whippin' when fellow Sea Ray owners see us pulling up to the docks on friends' Bayliners. We just tell them that we're helping them case out the best spot to sink the thing, and they understand. I guess we could start wearing disguises such as "Groucho glasses" or even paper bags over our heads so we are not recognized, but then we'd have to wear them when we accept rides in some of their tow vehicles that don't have the "bowtie" on the grill too!!!! Oh-oh, now what have I started?

It's the European model, by going with the outboards their's now room in the bilge for the "Crews quarters" ..

That's okay, if it were a Sea Ray with the same "cool mod" we'd be just as brutal. It's just that we, as Sea Ray owners, are not as "inventive".
Yea,,,, we're sarcastic instead.

Next thing ya know we will see portable gens running quad trolling motors through No Wake zones in order to save gas!!!

He could still run an io in the center and have triple power. When he gets on plane he can kill the outboards and just run on one motor. He then has the option of running the outboards again to get that extra speed to impress everyone he can.

If one of the home made mounts fails, no problem. They have a retrieval cable tied to the engine with an electric winch he took of his wrecked four wheeler.

Since he had 20k to spend on a 5k hull i wonder if he went the extra mile and added the 7k joystick steering to dock with.
