this is funny, my cord fell apart also. I wrote to Northstar last week and still no word from them. I would like to replace the cord or the whole hand set. If any one knows a good replacement for it I am all ears.

Good luck looking for one, I was lucky to find a member here that sold me a handset. They do show up on EBAY, but very rare. Try calling around your local marine electronics store, they may have replaced one, and may have to old one around.
