Would this bother you?

Maybe I'm overthinking things but my OCD is kicking in. New boat. Bow speakers are black. Aft speakers are white. Thoughts?

Looks like they were trying to color match... black with the black background, and white with the white accent at the cup holder.

I would not have a problem with it and I'm somewhat OCD myself.

I'm really OCD, but that looks right to me. BUT, if it really bugs YOU, buy black covers for the other pair.

The funny thing is on the 19 SPX IO my slip neighbor has (with the same interior), all of the speakers are grey/silver. I guess Sea Ray has multiple suppliers and they just put in what's laying around.

I was told that color was an upgraded stereo package.

That would bother me. It looks like you changed 2 speakers and didn't want to spend the money to change the other two. I would be worried what a buyer would think when you wanted to sell it.

If given the choice I would have chosen all black or all silver, but I don't know that I would go to the trouble to replace them. I might feel different if it was my boat -- I have done some pretty OCD things in the past. If I bought new ones I would probably stress over what to do with the white ones!

I have CDO (that's OCD in the correct order), and it doesn't bother me too much. But, if I was going to make them all the same I would go with White grills.

stuff like that drives me crazy so yes it would definitely bother me......personally I would go with the black speaker covers on all speakers.....I am a fan of symmetry.....

Since you have OCD, it looks really wierd, and the two white ones are actually slightly different color white, and they are not quite mounted vertically straight, and I think one is slightly higher than the other.:smt001

For me the question should be.....Were they mis matched when you looked at, decided to buy and then signed for the boat? Surely you would have noticed it then?

This might explain the issue...

From the SR website....."Premier Stereo System Upgrade w/Amplifier & Subwoofer, Additional Pair of Speakers (4 Total)" For about $1300 bucks!

There was also another interior upgrade for $4300 (YIKES!) that may have entered in to it.
