Splashed yesterday, was fortunate to be there to watch. What a nerve racking experience that is. They move the boat with a fork lift, block her, then put her in with a travel lift. The forklift part is the worst.

Not even in the water for 3 hours and get the phone call that there is $1500.00 in work needed and a coolant leak in both engines that needs to be diagnosed.

Welcome to the 2010 boating season! Best Wishes to all!!

(Pressure testing both engines next week to see if the loss of coolant was related only to both expansion tanks and hoses leaking (being fixed in the $1500.00) or worse... I expect the answer to be worse as the engines were down 1 gal of coolant... fingers crossed.)

Well I'm typing this from my house .

Now the thunder storm is rolling threw at 10:22pm EST. :smt013

Visiting boat tomorrow for final inspection of work done prior to launch. Boat goes in next week. I give a half hour speech at our Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on Thursday (ending my ridiculously busy season) and then we're boatin' on Friday, starting my favorite half of the year!

P.S. Wayne - Rain from Canada? - too funny.:smt043 Here in Southern Ontario we get most of our serious precipitation streaming up from the Gulf of Mexico - Texas Steamers.

No splash here. We stay in the water 365. Today was our 7th cruise this year. We took off the aft curtain and front eisenglass curtains about a month ago. Back to the cockpit cover now.

Did have the first overnighter on the lake last night though. Was just awesome quiet night with all hatches open for a cool breeze.

Let the fun begin.
