I have an '80 SRV270 with twin 350s. Starboard engine is fine driving downstairs. When on the bridge, pull back to idle and if the SB side dies you can't restart it. Moving the forward, neutral reverse positions don't seem to help in finding neutral. The cables feel bound at times. Could this be neutral safety switch and are new cables a must or can they be adjusted? I'm green to boating in large boats. can anyone advise me?
