Ive mounted a new head unit next to my shifter on my 1998 400 Sundancer. I need to run (3) 20’ RCA cables to the front entertainment center amp under the salon couch. Does anyone have any idea of the easiest route to get the cables there? I’ve racked my brain but I know I can be done.

Just did it in mine. Behind the existing stereo is a black hose. It looks like a bilge pump hose. It runs along the inside of the rub rail and dumps out right next to the subwoofer. The existing wired remote is all that ran thru mine.

I ran wires on my 400 DA via the access panel behind the speaker by the captains chair, go forward thought an access hole
That puts you close to the rear head cabinet. Think that was held in with 4 screws. Then take the two access pannels in the rear of the saloon upper storage compartments and you are next the the entertainment compartment. Sounds like a lot but it goes by pretty fast

This magic access hole/panel is what is kicking my butt. Also, opening the storage cabinet in my rear head, I don’t see any fasteners that hold it in place

Roughly what is the diameter of this hose?

Wired mine several years ago. Memory being what it is I used an extension tool; a snake, to guid the wires thought the openings. Helps having another set of hands. If memory serves me correctly, think I also expanded the assess hole by the captains chair going forward with a hole saw or long spade bit. One or the other. It was just a plywood gusit

Before you pull wires, do you have a TV mounted on the fwd salon bulkhead? I ran cables so I can view the MFD on the TV, and satellite TV channels on the MFD.
