I looked thru my online Searay manual and couldn't find a wiring diagram for my 340. Does anyone know where to find one? I'm about to cut everything out and start over.

I checked the online 1989 340 owners and parts manual as well and did not see them. Could it be that yours is the same model as an older version (88?), I would check those as well. Sometimes it seems the versions online are just the updates for that year. Good luck with it Pat.

Back then Sea Ray did not publish the schematics for boats nor did they include them in owner's packets. The thought being to protect the dealers on service sales since the dealer is where the owner must go for help on the wiring.
Sea Ray did publish a loose leaf binder style of manual for product changes and new boat dealer information and the wiring diagrams are usually in it. There was one manual for each authorized dealer. Perhaps you can get someone in Sea Ray customer service to run one down for you but they may refer you to your local dealer.
Honestly, I'm afraid you are going to be flying solo on this one since 15+ years is a pretty long time for product support in the world of Sea Ray.
