Hello.
I am from good old Germany and I need some guidance please! I own a 300 Sundancer from 1989 and it seems that a lot electrical stuff has been done by the previous owners - some good - some more like a mess.
I want to / need to sort out what's done and already took out some garbage installations. In order to proceed I need two things that I currently cannot find:
1. an original wiring diagram that tells me what the original wiring of the two engines, their alternators and starter motors and the engine battery and the second (boat) battery once looked like (The "Original state").
2. another wiring diagram that shows me what aan ideal state" should look like.
- One that has two separate smaller batteries for each of the engines and
- 2 or 3 larger batteries for the boat (to feed fridge, lights, music)
- plus that has an automatic charger in case of 110/220 shorepower
- plus that ties in 200W Solarpower when at sea.
So I need wiring diagrams which I can read (I am german and we are born engineers :-D)
plus I need some guidance from members that have already gone through something like this
