Has any one put one in. You still need to run power to it but the signal can be picked up on your cell phone, tablet, computer or navigation system. Found 2 Raymarine Quantum $1,400US and FURUNO DRS4W $1,000US. There seem to be others.
Looking comments. Running data cable to radar is not much work. Four beers.

My buddy has the Quantum wifi. Works perfect and yes the signal shows up on many device options. Heck with his new autopilot he can steer his boat with his phone.... operator did ya catch that?

From a brief perusal, it looks like the Ray targets only a Ray MFD, whereas the Furuno targets only iOS.

I wouldn't want a radar that I cannot use on my MFD. Conversely, having the ability to also target iOS would be awesome.

What I want is a wireless Radar that will target both my Garmin MFD and my iPad. A boy can dream.

If the wire pull is easy I would pull the wire. Then you can connect to the MFD with your wireless device via WiFi and have full MFD capability rather than just radar image.
