I was replacing the wiper arm yesterday and lost a 'sleeve' that goes over the motor bolt. I don't know what this part is called or where to get a new one.

Does anyone know what it's called or who sells them?

If you find them let me know. I am in exactly the same position with my port wiper arm except that mine is stripped somehow. I could not find an automotive one that would fit. I even bought a replacement arm, and the new one didn't have the same size attachment so couldn't use it. I was going to just use JB Weld and "glue it on" if I cant find the replacement. For now, I just don't use the port wiper unless necessary. It sort of works, but eventually flops loose.

We don't deal with the sport yachts/yachts (hard to deliver one of those to Allentown, PA!), but most of the Sea Ray's I've dealt with use a motor made by AM Equipment. If you can access one of your motors, you might be able to verify that. Then contact them to see if they can help you out. I've found them to be a friendly company to deal with.

Thanks very much Dennis.

I contacted AM Equipment with a short email and the pictures of the part. In only a few hours they got back to me. The part is a tapered knurl, part# 407-1097. I searched their site (http://store.amequipment.com/) with the part number and then ordered it. It was $6.80 plus shipping. Awesome!

Thanks again Dennis that was very helpful.

I just wanted to do a follow-up post. The part arrived last week and I put it no the boat this past weekend. It fit perfectly and the wiper arm is installed.

Fantastic! I'm glad it all worked out for you.
