Wiper Motor Access

Has anyone had to gain access to and/or replace a wiper motor on a 400 DA - or similar for that matter. Specifically the starboard one - for the helmsman.....of course. The spidle or rod on the wiper motor that the wiper arm is attached to has sheared off today. I can pull the wiper arm off the boat and the spindle or rod slides out with it - completely detatched from the motor.:smt100

Obviously it is somewhere under the headliner up by the electrical panel or light / speaker panel. But before I start taking everything apart and breaking little hidden clips etc. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

Any insight or advice woudl be much apprectiated.

I'm sure there are distinct differences between a boat your size and mine but for what it is worth, I have a panel in the toilet roof from which access to the wiper motor can be gained.

I believe the motors are below what appear to be speaker "grills" in the hadliner.

Thanks for the guidance. I will check there first. Hopefully it is behind those panels as they look to be relativly easy to remove. Not sure if I will tackle it before haul out or not but I will post some pictures as I dig for the access to the wipers.

If you look under the technical article section at the club level, I have a detailed post with pictures where I resealed my wiper motor on a 2000 270 Sundancer which should be very similar but I think to have access to the technical article section you have to be a site sponsor.

Does anyone know how and where to access wiper motors on 06 SR SD 400.
Looks like l can get to port motor by taking out fold down TV, Starboard maybe through dash???
