Heading to the lake this evening. Has been raining for a week and a half and isn't set to let up for another 7 days!!!!

That said, anyone know offhand what size wiper replacement wiper blades I need for my '05 320?

Just figure I should pickup a set just in case!!!

My '05 340 uses 20". I replaced them with 21" for a little more coverage. Used standard Autozone auto "J" hook wiper blades - I think I got Bosch Microedge blades.

Can't get into my online parts catalog right now. Maybe just buy a few different sizes and return the ones you don't want? As mentioned above, you might be able to go a bit bigger, anyways.

How 'bout those newer silicone blades? Seems like they would last longer than regular black rubber.

Absolutely.......I replaced the ones on my cars as well as the one on my 260DA with the one piece RainX blades. These blades are so superior to the old style ones there is absolutely no comparison. Not only will they last longer, they have never skipped or hopped across the windshields even once and mine are about nine months old now,

While on the subject, I remember reading somewhere that an excellant replacement wiper for the 1997 330DA was a GM or Ford truck product. Can anyone remember what that product is?

I just used the 'J' hook type auto replacement mentioned above, didn't replace the arm just the wiper and wiper frame.

The problem is most of the older boats don't use the "J" hook style.

Yes, I do recall something about getting blades at a truck store/stop. I know it was a Ford - don't recall the model, though.

You could also just replace the arm with the newer J-hook style so you can use any type of blade you want (like silicone) - at any auto store, too.

Just changed mine this weekend to Silicone as well. Now I have enhance parts on my boat :)

I've had good luck taking the blade assembly off and going to parts stores. You can usually get a pretty good if not exact match.
