Gang,
I'm new to the forums and have lots of questions! I just purchased a 270 Amberjack. The boat is located in Charleston SC and therefore has not been winterized. I'll be towing it to Maryland in a couple weeks. When I get her up here, I need to quickly take care of things before the temperatures cause me a problem. The boat has the 6.2 MPI Seacore motor with Bravo III outdrive. In addition, I need to deal with the freshwater system, hot water heater and A/C unit.
I've been trying to read whatever I can find online. I don't have the owners manuals yet on the boat. Seems like there's quite a bit of varying opinions on exactly what should be done to winterize.
If anyone has any suggestions or advice on the simplest and quickest way to winterize this particular motor, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!
Mike
