I just purchased a 07 Sea Ray 230 Select. It has a 350 mag with the new Manual Single Point Drain System. I live in TN which is a fairly mild climate. I was told by my dealer that all I have to do is drain the engine with this system and it would be fine. He said he would not even fog the engine if I was going to take it out several times this winter. (It was 70 degrees last year around Jan) Does anyone know if this is efficient? Everything I read on line talks about running anti freeze through the engine. However I know my last two boats when I had them winterized the engine was drained and the hose to the water pump disconnected and the engine was fogged. It gets freezing here ever so often but usualy does not last long. The boat will be stored outside under a shark skin cover. Any advice would be helpful
