Winter Storage - What do you leave onboard?

Oh yeah. Never leave food on the boat. I get shrink wrapped, which keeps critters out. But I take all food off in the fall. If you store without shrink wrap and leave tasty smelling food, it may attract mice, rats, raccoons etc. They can smell food through wrappers too.

All you guys with the "DampRid'! Calcium ice melter works better at 1/4 the cost. Put it in a few disposable freezer containers around the boat. In the spring, snap on the lids and throw in the dumpster. It's been working great for us for over 8 years.

I started to leave my wallet on the boat in the winter ...Seems my boat is less stressed in the spring not having to go thru separation anxiety during the long cold winter :)

Yeah sure but does calcium ice melter come in fresh cool breeze scent? Me thinks not :)

I put 6 cans of Damp Rid around my rig each year. This year it was $24.19 delivered to my house for the 6 pack on Amazon. Less than a case of good craft beer...
