Looking for a winter cover for my 300. I was told that using a cockpit cover is a bad idea as the snaps might pop off or the cover may even pull and crack the windshield if there is a lot of weight on it. I looked at mooring covers but can't seem to find one big enough so I am guessing I'll need a custom job. I really would like to avoid shrink wrapping again (cost and environmental reasons).

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

That would be helpful, wouldn't it!!!

Anne Arundel County, MD.

Thanks.

Or a truckers tarp with a PVC framework underneath it. I bought a 60 x 40 tarp 6 years ago and I'm still using it. We get significant snow loads, so the A frame keeps the snow from building up, allows the boat to breath and protects it from the elements. I can still get in to work on it if I need to. I have the mooring cover on underneath the silver/black tarp.

Look in the phone book for a local canvas shop. I had one custom made for my 280 last year that covers down to the water line for $1,250.
