windshield wipers

Howdy all....can't imagine this not being talked about before...but I sure couldn't find the thread.....
WINDSHIELD WIPERS 1990 310 Sundancer.....has a curved windshield.....I have 3 blades, port, stabbord and center...of the 3 center one(12") works and clears the glass nicely....two outboard ones (18") will not follow the curve of the glass.....current blades take a refill, slide in from one end and snap into place.....
They, outboard ones, must be replaced with something that will work.....anyone else had to replace wipers and if so, what did you find that would work....

I recall that Frank H had a source for the OEM wipers. May have been posted on the old board. I don't have it anymore since my new boat doesn't have wipers. I am sure Frank or others will respond with the info.

Morning all,

Try www.directbus.com , they have OEM replacement parts for many of the wiper brands that Searay uses and the cost is substantially less that going to Searay for replacements!

Off Topic, Karen and I became Grandparents for the first time last night at 7:02 (CST) when our son and his wife welcomed Maggie Ann into the world in Loveland CO :smt038 . Now we have someone new to spoil and someone to leave the boat to if my kids piss me off!!!! :smt043

I've had good luck finding wiper blades at parts stores that cater to truckers.

Many of the wiper blades and arms for Sport Yachts are manufactured by Wexco. Their web site is

I have purchased arms and blades from them for my 04 420 and they are a direct replacement.

I've tried those links but it's hard to see if they're the right blade. Anyone know of aftermarket place I can buy one like this, or do I have to go to Sea Ray?

I replaced my... not sure what it's called.... wiper assembly? basically the thing in your pic. I posted it in a thread with pics, can't remember the thread. I just bought a universal assembly, took out the plastic thingy in the middle. all the rest of your assembly will fit right into the middle slot and bolt on. looks OEM but with the exception of being able to buy blades at your local auto store. my 4th of july video has it in action.
