Windshield Wiper Blade

I have a 2004 Sea Ray 240 Sundancer and need to replace the windshield wiper blade. Does anyone know what to replace it with?

Typically they are truck and bus wiper blades and arms. Look under truck supplies.

Yes... another windshield wiper blade.

There's a good chance your boat (given the year) uses a J-hook arm - which means you can buy a replacement at an auto store. Have you physically looked at it, yet? If not, then see above.

Thanks, I went to the store and got one, it was a generic 16" wiper with a J-Hook. We replaced it and went out today in the rain. Coming back into the dock, I had a crew member on the bow, and they slipped ripping the wiper off and tossing it into the water. Back to the store for me...

Bumping an old thread with a new question.


The wiper blades on my 680 need to be replaced. I measured them and got just barely shy of 37”.
I called the NAPA store and he said they come in 36” or 40”.
I can’t imagine they stretched but maybe. I would’ve expected shrinkage if anything.

So my options are buy the 36s and hope for the best or buy the 40s and try cutting them.

Has anyone had to have an oddball size?

Have you tried AM Equipment? They have just about every odd ball size

I got my replacements at West Marine but probably paid more than I had to. Stainless steel though.

AM Equipment shows heavy duty wiper blades available in 36" to 52"

I honestly don't think it make a bit of difference as long as its a J-hook
