A friend of mine had a tinted windshield on his 52 DA by PO. It limited night vision too much so he had it removed. About 50% of my forward viewing area is glass and 50% isinglass. As an alternative to tint, we added mesh screen to the isinglass above the windshield. It goes on with velcro. Picture is of a side panel but we used it above the windshield (front) and above transom (rear). It works great and dramatically cuts the heat.
