Windless question?

Windless foot controls work.
From the dash, the down control does not.
I do hear a clicking sound from the windless chain storage hatch.
Any Thoughts?

Is this a factory install? Regardless, I would check the voltage off the switch at the helm when engaged. If there is corrosion you could be getting low voltage and not be able to kick in the contactor/solenoid.

There is a windlass control box in the anchor hatch. Take it off, take it apart and clean the contacts. Most likely that is it. Or you can buy one for $150 bucks..
