I have Quick 900 foot switches on my boat. One of the covers broke off after 10 years of sun exposure. Otherwise, both switches work fine. Are the covers available separately for purchase or do I have to buy an new switch?

Resurrecting this thread, I'm going to change both switch covers to stainless, reuse the original switches themselves and keep the new ones as spares. The instructions say "must be installed without using silicone." I'm assuming that means don't run a bead of sealant around the unit before screwing it down. I had planned to put a little life seal on the screw threads before i run them back down. That what you guys did as well?

Yep, used LifeCalk here.

I kept my original switches and replaced the white plastic covers. I'm the only one that sees them so SS wasn't necessary for me.
