2005 420 DA. Windlass stopped working yesterday had to hand crank. hit the switches and pads and nothing, is there a breaker switch somewhere that is hidden that I can't find.
Was working great since I got it back in 2017 until last night.

Any help is really appreciated before I need to call the repair shop.

on my 340DA, the windlass circuit breaker is in the engine room.

I have a 2001 with a Progress 1. There could be a fuse up in the anchor locker. If I recall, there was a 5A glass fuse. I had to replace it with a blade style.

Same on my 360DA.

Where? I’ve spent LOTS of time in my ER and haven’t seen it.

We have different boats of course but I keep hearing about this mythical breaker, even a mention in my manual but can’t find the fool thing.

Generally speaking where is this breaker usually located?

It *should* be pretty close to the battery that powers the windlass, and connected to that battery with a short, heavy wire.

So I’ve heard.

I have 4 batteries-2 house, 2 starters and the only breakers anywhere in my ER are in a pair of black boxes mounted to a stringer. There are main 12V accessory and bilge pump breakers there but nothing for the windlass.

I guessing this would be a high amp breaker and clearly labeled. Nada.
