Last week while leaving the sand bar I went to raise my anchor and notice that the voltage gauge on the dash would go down to 0 volts after a few seconds. If I keep the un button press the windlass will stop moving and all the gauges go blank and then reboot. Today I installed new batteries but the problem still persists any ideas?

Bad ground at the batteries?

Check (carefully) to see if any of the battery terminals are hot or loose when your power fails.

Most are a direct wire to the battery so it would mean the batteries are too small to carry the load of the windlass
or the windlass motor is going bad drawing way too much current and killing the battery
