Windlass Replacement

Wondering if anyone has had to replace the Progress 1 windlass motor. Ours has a severe case of exploding rust! I know I'm on borrowed time with it. Have researched for a new motor with no luck as I believe they are discontinued from the manufacturer and any remaining inventory is super high priced.

If you have replaced the entire unit, then what did you install? Also where did you purchase from?

Have you tried P2 Marine? Here is the part number for the 700W 12v motor. There is also a 1000W version.

Just an update. New motor installed yesterday. Ordered new 9mm alum. finger from M. Dixon Precision and new anchor rode with stainless steel chain coming Monday.
