I have a 1987 Sea Ray 340 Sedan Bridge. I have a windless control switch at the upper helm but it is not connected to the Windless Solenoid Has anyone in the Sea Ray Club installed a wireless remote control for the windless and if so what make and model would you recommend. or has anyone hardwired from the upper helm to the windless solenoid.

Hard wiring from the upper helm is a piece of cake. All you have to do is wire in a relay that works with the lower control then put a switch on the upper helm.

I have a wireless remote and use it all the time. The only time I've used the hard wired control is when the battery failed in the remote.
