Windlass Only Raises Anchor??

My windlass only raises the anchor (doesn't lower it). I can still lower it manually with the handle. Any suggestions?

We just had a thread about this.

It could be a bad switch too.

Or something as simple as a wire off. Check in the anchor locker to be sure one didn't get dislodged. A friend just had that very problem. One connection had come loose.
