I have a 1991 searay 280 weekended.

I have a Good brand windlass.

It suddenly stopped working.

I can hear the relays clicking.

I checked the power to the 60 amp fuse and have no current to the fuse.

I connected a wire direct from the battery switch to the 60 amp fuse and the windlass works.

It seems that there must be corrosion or a break somewhere in the original power line.

Dose anyone have any clue where to look?

Searay will not supply electrical schematics so that I can trouble shoot and follow the wire.

I don't know if your boat is the same as a DA260 inside, but I had an issue on a relay in the engine compartment for my remote windlass control.

Let me see if I can find a picture.

As stated, there is a relay in the engine compartment that sends the power to the front. Time to go searching.

I had a similar issue with my windlass, no power, relay clicking. The fuse was good, but there was a circuit breaker which tripped. On my 07 320, the breaker is right next to the fuse, so it was easy to fix, once I knew where to look. It was a different type of breaker, mounted by itself, it is a hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker on mine, at least, that is what the manufacturer of the windlass recommends.

I have a dock mate with similar issues... 2010 330DA

Normally you push the arm button on the switch pad, the relay on the fire wall pulls in, and the blue light comes on. You can then pull the anchor in or let it out with the other switch pad buttons.

The relay on the fire wall clicks but it won't latch in. We can measure voltage on both sides of the relay when you hold it in (with the switch pad button). But the blue light never comes on and the in/out buttons do nothing. We have checked all fuses and breakers.

His relay looks just like the one pictured earlier in this thread. The schematic shows 2 fuses in the relay but they are not there just as the picture here.

Anyone have any clues?

I have a Good Windlass as well. There are 2 Solenoids in the anchor compartment, One for up and one for down. The one for down sticks a bit. Somtimes have to tap it to make it work. I am odering one tomorrow morning. Part number is 20-111224-5

As closure to my issue... we found that a fuse was missing on the solenoid. This fuse provides 12V feedback to the EIM that the solenoid is closed so it could then be locked in. How it fell out, we have no clue.

Is that part number from good or another source? I need a solenoid as well but heard you do not need to order from good directly for it?
