The Lofrans Marlin windlass on our 270 has started giving me trouble. I’ve cleaned the motor and brushes but I suspect the issue is in the control box. About 3 years ago when I first started having issues with it I actually found a tutorial someone had put together on disassembling and cleaning the internals of my specific control box(I actually think it was a blow boat website or forum). Of course I can’t find that link anywhere now. I’m sure I can tackle it on my own but does anyone have any suggestions or information on this? I know I could buy a new one but I’m cheap and knowing how things work comes in handy. Thanks guys
