Personally, I think Detroit's problems are far more related to Economics rather then immigration and multiculturism. I don't think I am alone in that viewpoint.

Detroit has been a dump for quite a while when I hauled Massie Ferguson tractors in the mid 70’s it stunk and in the 80’s I it got worst and the auto industry was still strong
