Why Is CSR So Slow Now?

Bridog, I'm guessing but I believe they would have to have liability insurance. They need to be street legal and be licensed to be driven in the streets. There are some pretty fancy ones down there. You can find used ones for sale all the time.

If I had a 2 car garage I'd probably have one for running around our area.

Still around, not as much as before (mostly in the background doing the admin thing of lost passwords, banning i.p. address of spammers, etc)...plus this work thing gets in the way.
 
Might be a while before our friends up north will be boating, me thinks....

That’s a helluva office view you’ve got there. Glad to see you’re still on the forum, I’ve learned a ton of stuff from you over the years.

I guess from their perspective one is considered hate speech, and the other is considered preaching to the choir. They just cannot fathom the idea that not everyone attends their church.

I'm still trying to figure out hate speech or more specifically hate crimes. Is there a list of words or beliefs in the Constitution that are banned and considered hate?

Seriously, though, you're right. There are no such distinctions in the first amendment.
 
The First Amendment, the most primary Amendment, guarantees the right to free speech. The reason speech needs to be protected is because it may be unpopular with some people. This “hate speech” crap started a number of years ago with the introduction of “hate crimes” for specific “protected” classes of people. I was a police officer for 26 years, and was at the scene of many homicides....all of which were hate crimes. There was never any need to delineate one murder as being more heinous than another- they were all tragic and horrific. I don’t agree with or understand this direction the country is moving where we are a bunch of groups of people all lined up against one another based on wealth, or race, or religion, or no religion, or orientation. Until we knock this crap off and get back to shared values that we’re all Americans first with a love of the Constitution, a freedom of opportunity and individual freedom then we are all in trouble. Ok, I’ll get off my soap box....

Indeed. The 1st Amendment wasn't put in place because everyone agreed with one another. Also, the Amendments / Bill of Rights order wasn't drawn out of a hat.

It was the previous administration who ushered in "Hate Crime" legislation. How can you prosecute someones thoughts?

Our younger generation now is being led/taught to believe this nonsense instead of understanding and perusing 'LIBERTY'.
