Why does this engine sound like this?

The pump takes about 1 hour to swap out and about $100. Sounds like the pump but even if its not its a good part to change. Only difference from a marine pump and car pump is impella inside is normally SS.

And the back plate is S/S, the shaft is S/S and so on. Have seen bronze impellers, too.

IOW, don't use an automotive one, unless of course, you have fresh water cooling (closed cooling with antifreeze ). Then some use an automotive one in a pinch.

Ok. So I ordered the water pump. One for noe but will probably do the other after I successfully do the first.
In meantime, I am trying to decide if I should change some of the pulleys.
Took a video of the pulleys connected to the power steering reservoir. Does this indicate need for change? If so, how does this particular pulley come off? its the only one without a visible screw/bolt on the outside.

Comes off with a special puller, don't bother. Clean the rust off and paint it

New Circulation pump installed. Problem seems to have disappeared. Yet to take it for a spin out in open water to confirm for sure.
Video to come.

I guess I spoke too soon. Or maybe am just hearing things. But it seems like the problem is still there.Even with the new circulation pump, If I rev it high enough I still hear some clanking/rattling. It's not as noticeable as before though. You have to pay attention to hear it in the video. But its more audible in person. There is also the humming sound which I think is one of the pulleys. And the issue of the high idling. Here are some videos, let me know what you think.

2 Videos of Rattle even with new Circulation Pump. As opposed to before, it is not as much and can be heard only at high rev. (0:22 mark)
Was going to run it with belt off but got late. Anyways a few things came to my mind:
Could it be a piece of metal from the old circulation pump that wasn't flushed out? Could it be a Pulley?

2 Videos of High Idling (This is from Startup and it s a nice warm afternoon)
I ordered a IAC valve so will see if this fixes this issue.

Did you get a chance (with the belt off) to check out the bearing in the idler pulley -- the one where you adjust the tension in the belt?

I did. Seemed fine. If I recall correctly, I swapped it with the pulley from the other engine few days ago. I will swap it again tomorrow to be sure.
