Why did my 300 lose so much value?

The one they had at the show was listed for 149K. It had full Radar/GPS/Chartplotter, VHF, Tables were the wood instead of the plastic/fiberglass, Dual TV's, Dual DVD players, Spotlight, Windlass, Camper Enclosure, twin 5.0 BIII. It was nicely loaded up. No genny though. The dealer is looking to see if he can get me close to 100K with my trade in. If e gets close enough to that, i may have a problem! Beautiful boat thats for sure and that interior layout is really roomy. The forwardberth bed seems a little odd for sleeping but i cant imagine its any better or worse than my 240DA. The aftcabin set up is huge and the kids wold love it with their own flipdown tv and DVD player. Decisions decisions... Oh and you are interested, Basset Boat Company is my Sea Ray dealer up here in CT.

The salesman I spoke with from the Sea Ray dealer at the New Orleans boat show said that Sea Ray has already stopped production of the 300da.

What would this mean for a 300DA owners or potential owners?

Thx,
Alex.

This of course means that the 300 is an instant classic and likely to be worth more the longer we own them.

Ok, wishful thinking to be sure. The reality is SR stopped production of the 300 sometime during this year to push lagging sales of the all new 310. If sales continue to be disappointing, look for a glorious return of the 300, which we all know is just about a perfect boat in every way.

Marine Max still has some new ones in inventory...I pulled a couple of them up earlier this week....list 213K....the 300DA has made a similar run in production as most other Sea Ray models...2002-2007.
