I'm going to go, not sure which days yet. Lots of very cool things to see. My GF and i decided to put off gifts until the boat show.

I always go and afterwards to Lil Italy for dinner! It has become an annual event where several guys get together and make a day of it. We will leave the wives home and take the train into the city.
We usually go on Jan 2 or 3, but I think we will go on Dec 27 this year. Let me know when you will go.

Not sure it Dec 27 is a typo, but the show doesn't start until Dec 29. Hate to see you travel to NYC twice!

Ohhh. Do I smell a NYC CSR trip?

I can get my other half to go if I promise her a show. Only hitch on my end is that we are totally out of vacation time. . .

Thanks At Ease - I would never live it down if I organized the trip and it was not even open.....

We always try to go when most people are back to work as it is much quieter and you can really spend allot of time with reps, etc. My company was just bought so I was hoping not to take vacation time on the 2nd but hey- its a boat show!

Doesn't your dealer give you freebies? I have to buy a new PWC this year and even the PWC dealer will be providing free ticket to the Atlantic City show. Considering a PWC at barely 5 figures and a new boat is deep into 6 figures, a set of tickies isn't a huge spiff for the customer.

Best regards,
Frank

I didn't buy from a dealer, So I have to cough up the big bucks for the show.

No problem. I will be there on the 29th. Taking the Admiral and kids...

Will be at the boat show on sat, tomorrow. I'm going to wear my CSR t-shirt. if anyone sees me, say hi.

That's a good question.... I'm thinking the lucky 10 cents on the dollar repair hat. I've never bought anything with the hat yet, maybe it'll translate.

I'm going to try and go today. I'll be the one with the navy blue sweater and the angry wife.

Best regards,
Frank

Show was not crowded... Show looked like alot vendors didnt show ( raymarine etc ... ) I Liked the new silverton ovington ( triple IPS drives ) and the new 44 meridian. Great fit and finish. Lots of storage. Hated the new 47 ..... yes hated... Felt smaller then the 44 sedan bridge. Only cool feature was that half opening entry way.

Really liked the Marine max tiki hut.... That thing was sweet... The ss3 people are alot nicer and patient then the marine max crew...

I will be going on Sunday, followed by a trip to Mulberry(sp?) street for dinner.

I will have a blue jacket with a pic of the boat and the "GETAWAY VEHICLE" graphics. Like TT, if you see me say hi!

I liked the 47, thought it was really nice. bought a bunch of junk at the show too. I bought 3 rolls of that freaky tape that self adheres when it's wrapped. I bought some of this super crazy glue stuff. I bought some metal polish. I bought some sunglasses. I bought some shirts. I bought some micro fiber clothes. I bought a couple of $6.50 beers.

They had a case of all these watches to give away to those who bought sea rays. When one sold, they would ring a bell and everyone would clap. it was kind of freaky.

Mike ,
That freaky tape is awesome, been using it for years. the helm on the 47 is a bad position I couldnt see the bow im 5'11 . The aft stateroom is impossible to get out of with out hitting ur head. U have to pay attention to getting out bed??? thats not going to work... The long walk down to the v turned me off and someone fell down in the salon . they missed that little step going .

The boat show was great. I was there yesterday (saturday) and checked out all the new Sundancers. They made a fantastic deal to me on the on the 310 they had there loaded with all the goodies. The problem is the admiral and i still like the look of the 320 better. They dropped the show price of 199k to 185K for that loaded boat. If i didnt mind another mortgage payment for a boat im not totally in love with, id have signed on the dotted lie right then and there. Like previously stated, it wasnt overly crowded even with the motorcycle show downstairs at the same time. The search continues...
