One thing I've learned about this group, is that y'all like to look at, touch and discuss boats of all kinds.

I know this is a Sea Ray group, but I also know that a passion for boats cuts across brands. Friends of mine run the Prestige dealership in the mid Atlantic region and they are hosting an open house this coming weekend which includes a bunch of their boats, even the new fancy 75 footer that is on its way to an "unveiling" at the Fort Lauderdale show.

As I said, these guys are buddies of mine (and they are former Sea Ray owners) but beyond that I have no vested interest in this, I just figured I'd throw it out there for those interested.

Details here.

Boats are boats and nobody is more of a Sea Ray human than I, but people and true friends are always more important than fiberglass and motors so I will add that Ryan and Josh, who are selling Prestige boats...are true friends of mine and I am proud to say so!

Wish them both much success.

And Rusty shows, yet again, that he is a class act. Thanks Captain!

I've met Josh and spoken with him at the Prestige display the past two years at the FLIBS. He's passionate about the boats they're selling. They are a little heavy handed in the sales tactics, but are overall nice guys. They went to Prestige to sell a brand at a lower price point than Sea Ray, but a boat that is still well made.

I like Sea Ray, but I always think it's a good idea for boaters to see various makes and models. This is why I go down to Ft. Lauderdale every year to see what everyone is up to.

I've said it before Fairline makes one of the nicest boats I've been on and they are slowly making headway on the east coast.
