Driving today I see this on all the digital freeway signs here in California.
I think the person who typed this was drunk or high.
How about “don’t drive drunk or high”

I think the word missing is "anyone". As in "Don't let anyone drive drunk or high". But pretty funny.

"I had to drive, occifer, I'm too drunk to walk."

I read it as don't let drunk or high drive.

Becoming more common to see these slip ups every where. Lots of news stories, for example, are written with missing words, run on sentences, comma faults, etc. Auto correct is partly to blame, but lots of ignorance on display as well.

ODOT (Ohio Dept of Trans) has been putting funny/snarky sayings on the electronic boards for years. They even created a website wear you can make suggestions. http://zerodeaths.ohio.gov/create-your-message.aspx

They rejected my suggestion of "Get the F--- Out Of Left Lane"

All of the people from Ohio who really need to hear this are in Florida now. They are in front of me doing 63.72% of the posted speed limit with 0 situational awareness.

submitted for when the snowbirds go home...
