here is a picture if it posts of my sundancer on its trailer waiting for me to pick it up from the marina last a week ago tuesday. it is a really clean 89 just wish i could make it considerably faster like closer to 60 + mph instead of high 30's or low 40's. its more exciting going airborne and wondering if you and passengers will remain in it.

You shouldn't have bought a SR then.

Cobalt is built better, period. But consider this; look at a 10 year old Cobalt and a 10 year old Sea Ray. Then look at a 15 year old Cobalt and a 15 year old Sea Ray. The Coblts will look weird and the Sea Rays are still Sea Rays. Also, the Cobalt on line club SUCKS!

I hope you are kidding.

I'll say again, if you want the feeling of speed (and being airborne), get a jet ski. To have that feeling - and do it safely - in a boat you either need to spend a LOT of money or trust your soul to a bass boat.

i have always been the one in the marina to go out no matter what the weather/water conditions are.... i have been out in beautiful conditions more than bad conditions but i have also been out with my last boat in 15's on lake michigan with fog so thick one couldnt see his nose. if things got bad thats what the coast guard is for to come out and do a rescue and they cannot charge for it either.

i have never been afraid of anything... for that matter i chase tornadoes for my career and i have never video taped a tornado from further than 500 feet from it. so why wouldnt i be on the water at any time.

We'll hear about your death on the news someday !!. :wow:
You're a wild & crazy dude !!!. . :smt043 . :smt043.

actually writing this from the cabin now while i eat lunch. it seems to run much better now that the prop is new and the carb was adjusted my portable gps unit shows top end this morning was 41.3 mph now that it is getting to the warmest part of the day it should be interesting to see what it shows after lunch.

Ditch the inboard, bolt on a bracket and a pair of 300 hp E-Tecs.

If the transom stays attached to the boat, you should see 60 or better...

You may remember this, a number of years ago 2 guy's in a go fast tried to beat the fog back to Milwaukee. Witnesses said all they seen and heard were a flash of light and a bomb going off through the fog.

They hit the brake wall at WOT. All they found was floating bodies and fiberglass fragments.

Coast Guard didn't do them much good...:smt009
BTW it only took 3.1m (10.17 feet) waves of Great Lakes fury to sink the Edmond Fitzgerald

well finished with the afternoon ride... it seemed to be about 86 in fox lake boat still ran high 30's... close to 40. looks like rain now so probably stay around the marina or might go home and come back out on tuesday. there are still quite a few race boats on the chain that have to be running close to 70 + and doesnt look like much can catch them including the sheriff marine patrol. they all get looks from the marine patrol while me and the other cruisers dont even get looked at. but it does seem to run much better now that the prop was changed and the carb adjusted so its not running super lean. i heard it was running as lean as it possibly could and stay running, no more hesitation either on take off.

i have been in 2 serious snowmobile crashes and survived them both at fairly high speed, been in a crash on the drag strip and survived. so im pretty much invincible. i dont care how much money i cost this economy until we get rid of the joke of a president we have now in 2012. now my sea ray really seems to run nice now just not quite as fast as i hoped for, around 6000 pounds isnt really that heavy.

This is either a joke or you're a teenager who doesn't understand the concept of mortality or regard for other peoples safety. Seriously, get a clue and kill yourself on your own time and your own dime.

I, for one, do not believe in luck. You are either under divine providence or living by the circumstances you make. I am not afraid to meet my maker and to say I’m invincible would be arrogant on my part. One day divine providence will not go your way. I pray there are no others that you take with you when it changes.

Just my opinion.

Wow.....just....wow. :smt009

I really hope you were joking, but somehow I don't think you were.

Oh well, I just hope Natural Selection doesn't have any collateral damage in this case.
