My forward hatch hinge is sprung. It can be closed with someone outside pushing the hatch cover to one side. This makes it a P.I.A. I know those hatches are no longer available and the cost of a new one is high. I was just wondering if anyone knows what make they are and if there are any places that can repair or rebuild the hinge?

I would have thought Taylor Made...Thats what they are on my 268 88'

+1 ^^^^

Taylor Made from the late 70's to mid 90's. (According to my personal ownership experience)

All of my 80's model Sea Rays have Taylor Made windshields, port lights, hatches and canvas.

I wish you much luck on finding a replacement. I had to seal a forward hatch shut for a lack of available riser arms/handles.

Can't you just replace with a new hatch? I know they're expensive, but better than a leaker. Measure the cutout and match as closely as you can.

Ditto on Taylor, my '89 300 has Taylor hatches.

The hatch is not leaking, but will not close properly unless someone is outside to force it over to one side. Out side of that the hatch is in real good shape. The plastic was under a sumbrella cover its entire life, no scratches at all.
