Mike, you got me thinking back to my rookie days as a new boat owner, and there was one person who took me under his wing and taught me everything I know about lines, throwing, coiling, tying, etc,....Try as hard as I might, I can't remember his name.

So, Here's to you, Sailboat Guy, thank you for all your wisdom that you imparted to me on Brookville Reservoir all those years ago.

I'll give Kudos to B&E Marine too, as they have stepped up to the plate to cover things under warranty, even though my warranty had technically expired on several occasions. However, seeing as I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars there, including five boats and lots and lots of supplies from the ship's store, not to mention gas, I think we about even.

Kinda like how you have helped me... :smt038

The local coast guard auxiliary.

I took the boaters safety class with my daughter when she turned 12.

Normally there is a relationship between how much something costs and what you get.

We got way more out of it then we paid.

The instructors are volunteers and I give them my sincere complements.

Snap In Carpet has been outstanding to deal with. They have been extremely helpful with my new cockpit carpet, as well as helping me through some minor manufacturer issues, none related to Snap In. Would highly recommend them.

Jim and Tripp at BOE Marine have been great to deal with. Quick responses, good information. GREAT PRICES!!

Also my mechanic is always very helpful who is independent so no website, etc.

My Sea Ray Dealer has been great too! Hall Marine Group.

I should add...

Scott at Vector did a great job on my dash panel.

Great Lakes Boat Tops on my snap in carpet, and maybe soon new tops.

I arrived one Friday evening to pickup my new 270SE from the "Secure Storage" facility near the lake to find the B3 gone! :smt089

I stayed there on the boat that night and towed it 90 miles away to the dealer the next morning and they put a loaner on it and I was back to the lake by Saturday afternoon!

The Sea Ray dealer:
Charleston Marine
Charleston, WV

The mechanic that worked there at the time:
Frank Campbell
Now at BF Boat Supply
Charleston, WV

Frank is excellant... he did all of my 270 work after warranty and will do the same on my 310.

Imtra marine, Great Lakes boat tops and Chris Keller my service manager at Marine Max Brick. All understand great customer service.

Harv(my mechanic0 wont mention his last name because he is already overwhelmed with work for a person that retired several years ago. He kept his own shop going becuase he enjoys helping people and only charges....Now GET THIS $25 an HOUR because what....HE ENJOYS HELPING PEOPLE!!! first class all the way!!! There is nothing like people helping people for no other reason than the satisfaction that it gives them!! A+++++++

Sea Ray of Knoxville (everyone there) has repeatedly (for nearly the past three years) gone out of their way for me. If they would have had any cruisers in my price range, I am sure I would have purchased one from them.

Russell Marine (especially Chris Griffin) in Alexander City, AL got my most recent business and he too went out of his way to make it easy for me to buy my new (used) 290DA at a distance.

For customer service from a manufacturer, Bennett Trim Tabs sets the bar.

I'll 2nd Sea Ray of Knoxville. Ronnie & Brent have always gone above & beyond.

Ryan Daugherty, service manager at MarineMax Gunpowder Cove. Best service I could ask for.

North Shore Marina in Grand Haven, MI has an excellent service staff. They can fix or build just about anything. Tiara factory warranty work was outstanding. They did most of my warranty work at my home so I did not need to move the boat to receive service. They continue to provide technical advice and maintain a detailed record of how the boat was built and what changes they have made to it under warranty. The mechainical drawings provided at delivery are very detailed.

Chris Rahn at Mobile Marine Services in the western Minneapolis suburbs. He and his team are always professional and do excellent work. They keep excellent records and will meet me at MY dock to resolve any issues.
Dick and Rick's Boat and Auto interiors do great work at a very fair price.
