Another question. I picked up a 1240P last winter. It feeds 2 banks of batteries. I had to replace one bank today, could be age/charger combo, don't know. On this charger it has a bunch of modes along with battery type selector. When I got the charger I set it to Led Acid power 2. It was the lower of the 2. At start up it runs at 14.7v for 240 min then ramps down to 13.4. In the manual it states to only run the batteries in Conditioning/Normalization mode 4 times a year max. This is why the voltage ramps up. The problem is every time I connect to shore power and the charger goes on it ramps up to conditioning mode at 14.7v for the 240 min. Now I had to just replace my starboard batteries and noticed one tray was full of acid, like they were over charged. I tried calling and emailing ProMariner, but they haven't gotten back to me. Also have a question about the Amp display on the front. Is that what the battery is drawing or what the charger is putting out? Thanks Guys
