Which models were made at Merritt Island?

I understand the first four letters of the HIN of MI boats is called out as SERF.

What models were the focus of Merritt Island?

I've seen the SERF HIN on the 410EC, 390EC and 370EC.

My request is asking which boats were made (manufactured) on Merritt Island. It's a data point I'm interested in for a couple of reasons. First, I own a business on Merritt Island. Second, many of my customers work at that plant and I want to put up photos related to the history. And the third reason will start an argument so I won't bring it up.

I was unaware SR made boats around the great lakes - where is the plant?

It's too early, as evidenced by my replies. I think you guys are using MI to mean Meritt Island. Well..to us northerners still on our first coffee on Monday AM....MI means Michigan .

I have in my notes that SERF is Meritt Island, FL and SERT is Knoxville, TN. I've never heard of Michigan plants for any of these fine vessels.

My 44DB is SERP. I read somewhere on CSR that this indicates the hull is cored. I have replaced the three seacocks in the aft bilge (genny, air conditioner, and macerator), however, and can report that the hull is definitely not cored (at least not in that location).

They had three locations on Sea Ray Drive, Merritt Island. I believe they never built boats at the one to the East which is now inhabited by Aviara Boats. I believe the original SERF location was the Building at the corner of Sea Ray Dr. and Courtenay which is now owned by Arrnott and they build air springs there. Tmott might know for certain.
