Which bow stop round or vee?

I have 2 different bow stops. A round center and a vee center. Which is better? I have a 23’ bow rider. I can’t find a comparison on the 2. I would think the vee would flip around when ratcheting the boat on the trailer.

I have used both. The biggest difference I found in bow stops is the black rubber ones tend to leave skids. I changed both of my stops to the clear poly roller style. No more skid marks! Otherwise, no difference in trailering to me.

I used the round one. But I’ll keep the vee just incase I need it for future use.

Yes, my vee shaped on would sometimes flip up, I got in the habit of tightening or up every so often and putting water on it before the boat touched it so it would slide up and not roll...
