Where's the Fuel Cutoff (Cummins) on a 2002 46 Sundancer?

I'm helping a friend replace his fuel filters and can't find the fuel cutoff switch for them. Anyone know where they're located? Thanks in advance!

You can use either the fuel manifold or the valve between the Racors on a dual filter set-up.

set the fuel manifold to off and turn the Racor valve so it points up, not down.

I would use the valves between the Racors, as Frank says but if you are looking for the fuel manifold valves, they are on the starboard side in the cockpit. Lift the cushion just ahead of the step and you will see the two motor valves and the one for the genny.

Thanks very much guys. I'll check it out next time I get on his boat. I was referring to the fuel filters that hang on the side of the engines (secondaries). So, I suspect I'll have to find the manifold shutoff.

the 6CTA's do not have a manual shut off on the engine. Just kill the engine and the fuel shut off is actuated via the starting circuit. If you want to close the fuel line for filter changes, turn off the Racor, spin off the old FF; fill the new filter to the brim with clean diesel and spin on. Open the racor valve and you'll crank up on the second try.
