Xantrex makes several marine products. Is it an inverter? I have mine mounted under the sink in the cockpit behind the fridge there. That way it’s not in the engine room, but close enough to the port batteries. I drilled a hole under the fridge for the wires and then sealed it with 3M 4200.

Just looked at the 3012 ..it’s larger than my inverter. Maybe by the battery charger?
